Embark on a creative journey along Brighton's iconic seafront with professional photographer, James Winspear.
On this exclusive photo walk. Limited to just Six participants, you'll receive personalised guidance on mastering the art of long exposure photography.
Starting at the Palace Pier, you'll learn the technical skills needed to capture stunning long exposures, using neutral density (ND) filters to reduce light and extend exposure times. This technique will allow you to create beautifully smooth and ethereal seascapes, showcasing flat seas and the passage of time in your images. The walk continues to the West Pier, where you'll have the chance to photograph its hauntingly decayed structure, utilising the techniques you've learned to create dramatic, atmospheric shots.
Key takeaways from this workshop include:
• Understanding how to use ND filters to manipulate exposure times.
• Mastering tripod usage for steady, long exposure shots.
• Capturing dynamic images with smooth water and moving clouds.
• Developing a deeper technical understanding of long exposure photography.
Equipment like tripods and ND filters will be available for loan if needed, ensuring that everyone can fully participate in this hands-on learning experience. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a beginner looking to enhance your skills, this workshop offers valuable insights and practical knowledge to elevate your photography.
