Limited to just Six participants, this workshop offers hands-on guidance to help you master the art of low light and night photography.
Starting at the Tate Modern, you'll walk across the Millennium Bridge towards St Paul's Cathedral and into the heart of the city. Along the way, you'll learn how to capture stunning nighttime images, focusing on key technical skills like selecting the correct aperture (f-stop), adjusting exposure times, and fine-tuning ISO and white balance settings to suit the ambient light.
This photo walk will teach you how to harness these settings to perfectly capture the dramatic lights and unique atmosphere of London at night.
Key skills you'll gain from this workshop include:
• Mastering low-light photography techniques.
• Understanding how to balance aperture, shutter speed, and ISO for sharp, well-exposed night shots.
• Learning how to achieve proper white balance for accurate colour representation in artificial lighting.
• Using tripods effectively to stabilise your camera for long exposures.
Tripods will be essential for this workshop, and loan equipment will be available if needed.
